Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between frontals and crown-frontals?
Ms Lola specifically designs frontals for hair loss across the entire front hair line, from ear to ear, characterized as
traumatic alopecia. Crown-frontals are designed specifically for hair loss on the crown of the head, characterized
as androgenetic alopecia. Please note that these are general applications and vary with each individual. To
ensure an accurate fit, please use measuring charts and templates supplied within this site.

Can I attach the lace frontal unit myself?
Absolutely. The units are easily attached with adhesive bonds or tapes, and special clips. For your convenience,
Ms Lola has included an application  video within this site.

How long can I wear the lace frontal without it releasing?
According to the adhesive method use, frontals can stay securely attached up to 40 days. For sanitary reasons,
Ms Lola recommends removing frontals and full lace wigs at least every 14 days to throughly shampoo and
condition your own hair and scalp.

I have a large bald area on my crown. Can I still wear a lace frontal?
Yes, but you will probably find that a crown-frontal will fit better, especially if you have hair on the sides of your
head. For a custom fit, it is a good ideal to make a
 template, which is easy to do yourself. For the other
customizations, you can still use the custom order form.

Do you have a payment plan for frontals and full lace wigs?
Yes. For your convenience, I offer a two-pay plan where you pay one half the cost when placing the order and the
other half before your unit ships.

How long will I have to wait for my frontal or full lace wig after order it?
You can expect completion time for hair units to be 4 to 6 weeks for standard production, 25 days for a rush
production, or 18 days for a super rush production. Add three additional days to either production time for the wig
to arrive at MsLola.com.

Do you offer repair services for wigs?
Ms Lola does offer repair services for wigs that are produced by or purchased from MsLola.com. These services
are hair re-ventilation, rip and tear repairs. Pricing starts at $50 and up according to the extent of repairs or hair
re-ventilation.

How is Ms Lola Mineral Cosmetics different from other makeup?
Ms Lola Mineral Cosmetics are specific designed for women of color. The powder foundations, blushes, and
eyeshadows are rich, earthy colors that naturally blend with darker skin tones beautifully. The setting powder is
made of rice and not talc, which eliminates oil and shine longer. All of Ms Lola Mineral Cosmetics are  100%

What is Remy/Remi Indian hair?
Remy hair, also called virgin, cuticle or cut hair; is the highest quality human hair you can find on the market. I
only produce wig and hair units with the best Remy hair available on the market. The hair is in the most natural
state, free from chemical processing of any kind. Remy hair is special because each bundle comes directly from a
single donors head. This allows each bundle to keep the consistency of texture, color, and length. It is then
cleaned and sorted to be packaged. The cuticles of the hair are all intact and facing in the same direction. This
eliminates the worrisome pain of tangles and matting. This is what makes Remy hair a step above the rest!

Can you duplicate a hairstyle from a photo of the way I used to wear my hair before I lost it?
Yes. Once you have submitted your order for frontals, crown-frontals, or full lace wigs, you may email me the
photo and I will cut and style your unit at salon pricing.

Can I style this hair with curling irons, roller sets, beauty products etc?
Yes. Remy hair can set and blown dry to suit the individual. It is the softest and most natural hair available to
buy. It looks and feels like actual hair, because it is! This hair is not something you see in at the beauty supply
store.

How Long will my hair unit last?
Lace wigs and hair units can last for several months or even years depending on your usage and upkeep. The
types of glues that are used during the application method also applies to the life span of your unit. If you plan to
wear your unit continuously, the natural need for a new unit will become greater as the hair naturally degrades
due to extended periods of use.

Can I swim or go to the gym and sweat with my frontal lace unit on?
Yes. You can do your usual activities on a daily basis. Only avoid swimming or sweating for 24 hours after
applying adhesives and tapes. If you use the No Tape bond adhesive, you only have to wait until it is dry. Other
than that, no one will ever know the hair is not growing from your own scalp! Make sure you use a waterproof
adhesive. Not all adhesives and glues are waterproof. The combination of the Scalp Protector and No Tape bond
adhesive will ensure the strongest and best water resistant application available.

How do I care for my frontal or full lace wig?
You will receive detailed written instructions with your full lace wig, frontal, crown-frontal or full wig that tells how
to care for them. For your convenience, I have supplied a video on this site that demonstrates how to attach and
detach frontal units and full lace wigs. I will be adding more videos with helpful information relating to the care of
frontals, crown-frontals, and full lace wigs.

I'm Latina. I was wondering if your cosmetic line would apply to me? I have tried other mineral products and
have tried mixing all the colors, they have not fit my color. I'm olive skin tone but very light. I'm Argentinian

Ms Lola's mineral cosmetics are unique in that they can be blended to match all skin tones. For your Argentinian
olive complexion, you would blend a dash of envy and vanilla eyeshadow with the light foundation to formulate
the right color for your skin tone.  

Can you please explain to me the difference between Indian Remy hair and Malaysian Remy hair? Why is
Malaysian more expensive than Indian if they are both Remy hair? And another question, do you offer any
repair services for full lace wigs? Thank you in advance!
Indian Remy hair is processed into many textures and colors. Malaysian Remy hair is unprocessed and only
available in its original texture and color. Because it is virgin hair and more difficult to acquire than Indian Remy,
Malaysian naturally costs more.
MsLola.com does offer repair services for wigs purchased from us ONLY.

Is there an additional cost for the consultation? What are the costs for application, and styling? Ms Lola is
available for consultations, fittings, and installations the third Saturday of each month. Consultations and fittings
are $50. This fee must be paid when the appointment is made. Installations are $75 to $100.  A $50 deposit is
required when appointment is made. Ms Lola does not style or cut wigs on these days, as the consultations,
fittings, and installations are performed for many customers who travel across the country and does not leave
time for any additional services.   

How do you measure your head?
Ms Lola has supplied detailed instructions and charts that will allow you to take your  head measurements easily
and with precision. Please visit the
Specifications Page to see these charts.

If a wig is already sold can you still make an order for that same wig?
Yes. You may custom order the same wig and receive it in as little as 25 days with a rush production.

What is the Shipping and Delivery Time?
The shipping time for ALL IN STOCK items is within 24 to 48 hours. The shipping and delivery time for ALL CUSTOM
frontals, crown-frontals, and full lace wigs is 2-5 days after unit is received. The shipping time for Ms Lola's
Cosmetics is 2 to 14 days depending on availability.

What shipping method do you use?
Ms Lola ships orders either UPS Ground, 2nd Day,  or Next Day Air Saver within the US. International orders are
shipped USPS Priority or Express. For faster delivery, International customers may request DHL Express for an
added cost.  We only ship to addresses that are the same as the billing address.

Do you ship overnight?
Yes, we ship overnight. Simply select "Next Day Air Saver" at checkout.

What are your return and refund policies for wigs and frontals?
Ms Lola makes every attempt to represent stock wigs and hair units accurately so that customers will be happy
with their purchases. However in a few instances, customers may order a unit that is not right for them and wish
to return it. In these cases, Ms Lola will allow customers to exchange the unit for another one of equal or lesser
value, minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges; or issue store credit in the amount of the unit, minus a
20% restocking fee and shipping charges. Cash refunds will not be issued.

CONDITIONS THAT APPLY FOR RETURN UNITS
  1. You must contact Ms Lola within 48 hours of receiving the unit for return authorization.
  2. Units must be returned in the EXACT original condition, which means the lace can’t be cut or damaged;  the
    hair can’t be altered in any way.
  3. After authorization is given, unit must be returned in 5 business days.

We reserve the right to refuse exchanges if our return policy conditions are not met. If you have any questions,
please
contact Ms Lola before finalizing payment.  No exceptions will be made to this new policy.

CUSTOM wigs, half wigs, 3/4 wigs, closures, frontals, and weft hair may be returned if the workmanship is
defective, if the wrong unit is shipped or if the unit is not the unit ordered. Under either of these circumstances,
Ms Lola will have the unit remade at her expense. No cash refunds will be given, as the units are made especially
for you, therefore you can not return a unit simply because you've changed your mind after receiving it.  All
remake units will be made with the EXACT specifications from the original order form. Please do no ask for
changes, as this will constitute a new order and you will have to pay for a new order.

If you do have to return a unit for one of the above reasons, you must
contact Ms Lola within 48 hours of
receiving the unit
to request return authorization. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization from
Ms Lola. Once authorization is given, all returns must be shipped with signature or delivery confirmation.

VERY IMPORTANT: Wigs and hair units must be returned within 7 business days of receipt, in the original
condition, which means the lace can not be cut or damaged; the hair can not be altered in any way. Customers
are strongly advised to check all orders immediately and to try on the hair units before cutting the lace or
restyling the hair.
NO RETURN OF WIGS AND HAIR UNITS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 7 DAYS.

Wig and hair units must be in the original condition, which means the lace can not be cut; the hair can not be
altered in any way. Customers are strongly advised to try on the hair units before cutting the lace or restyling the
hair to ensure that the units fit correctly. Ms Lola will not accept any returns where the lace of the wig has been
cut or the hair has been altered. ABSOLUTELY no exceptions will be made.

Please also note: Refunds will not be issued once orders are submitted for production.
